I met a Ukrainian couple in Kyiv, who WON a green card lottery, which is held by the US Government. People submit applications, and winners are supposed to be picked randomly.

I told a lady who edits at Lexis-Nexus (well, telecommutes) about your site because we all need the pressure of additional grammar nazis with pet peeves about verbals and gerunds looking over our shoulders, right?

Read your posts so far. The workplace detail works for me. I can imagine corporate meetings are pretty much to the point, but maybe it's hard to understand what's going on without a language context and everyone smoking.

What about fitness? You have access to a swimming pool, weight room, running trail?
